Goodbye to a Little Light

This morning, the world lost a little light. At just 10 years old, Libby passed away after a lifetime of extraordinary courage. Born with cerebral palsy, Libby faced daily struggles that would have been overwhelming for anyone, yet she was known for something much stronger than her challenges: her laughter, her infectious spirit, and the love she shared with everyone around her.
Libby’s strength was a quiet inspiration, teaching those who knew her that joy can be found even in the face of adversity. Her resilience didn’t just help her endure—it helped others to live with hope. She was more than a little girl with a disability; she was a beacon of light, an embodiment of the strength that resides in the human spirit.
As her parents shared, “Libby is dancing in Heaven now. No more pain. No more struggle. Only joy.”
Though she may no longer be with us, Libby’s light will forever shine in the hearts of those who had the honor of knowing her.
