If the first was a hilarious “bromance” between Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Jason Statham, this one cranks everything up to pure Fast & Furious over-the-top levels. Luke Hobbs (Johnson) is now a single dad with a mischievous daughter, while Deckard Shaw (Statham) remains the cool, snarky ex-MI6 agent. They’re forced to team up again when a high-tech crime syndicate threatens London—and this time, Vanessa Kirby reprises Hattie Shaw, with Ryan Reynolds delivering a riotous cameo!

Plot? Don’t expect depth; this is pure action bliss! Chris Morgan’s script (from the original writer) is packed with witty plot twists, from a truck chase across London’s bridges to a brutal fistfight atop the Underground. CGI is seamless, and IMAX shots make you feel like you’re in the driver’s seat. Director David Leitch (John Wick) proves his stunt mastery once more—remember Hobbs’ helicopter bungee jump? This one’s even crazier!

The chemistry between Johnson and Statham is the film’s soul: their “fatso” vs. “shorty” jabs had the theater in stitches. The soundtrack is killer, blending American hip-hop beats with British rock to amp up the adrenaline.
